The teaser for Carry On Jatta 4 features the trademark chaos of the Carry On Jatta Franchise; however, it does not generate the same enthusiasm through the film's new release as the previous films have. The film is heavy on both humour and emotion but, in the teaser, the combination is in many instances disappointing.

The teaser primarily uses the same formula that worked for prior films, including mistaken identities, outrageous situations and over-the-top performances. Rather than creating nostalgia for viewers, the All-New Carry On Jatta Teaser feels redundant instead. The jokes are not original, nor is the comic timing that has been synonymous with the Carry On Jatta franchise up to this point.

The emotional aspect of the trailer, a tribute to Jaswinder Bhalla, could assist in character development for the film. However, the emotional element of the film may serve as more of a marketing element than an authentic narrative component. Furthermore, there will be an emotional mismatch between the film and the overall Carry on Jatta series's humour resulting in a lack of synergy; as a result, both the emotional aspect of the story and its comedic components will lose their value. Lastly, the film falls short of representing the legacy of Bhalla in a way that is both professional and honest.

The film has a strong cast that includes well-known stars, such as Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon and Gurpreet Ghuggi, but there is reportedly a lack of confidence about this being the last time the cast is working with director SMeep Kang. The movie's portrayal of its characters appears to be repeated traits that existed for them in previous films (as provided by the information provided from its trailer) with no added elements; thus suggesting that the actors are trying to repeat their previous successes and develop on them rather than move forward or develop their character in the direction of the audience's interests.

The director has also played it way too safe in comparison to his previous work with this particular series. The teaser for Carry On Jatta 4 lacks the excitement and spontaneity of the previous films, which leads me to believe that it's simply a calculated move to create a fourth film and make money off of the previous films.

Overall, the Carry On Jatta 4 teaser does not provide any form of excitement or anticipation for the viewer. The previous three films had captivating story-lines that attracted the viewers to see them. However if the full-length version of this film does not provide something very different than the other iterations, then this installment is likely to be remembered as an ill-conceived addition to the Carry On Jatta franchise that will just repeat itself over and over again and have a very misguided emotional perspective.
