JioHotstar is linking the late-summer streaming space with a girl’s revenge drama Ziddi Ishq, which premieres on November 21, 2025. Ziddi Ishq, starring Aaditi Pohankar, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, and Barkha Bisht, is a romantic-revenge drama directed by Raj Chakraborty. Featuring all the romance, heartbreak, and revenge, Ziddi Ishq will investigate traversing the thin line between love and obsession — an all-time and spine-chilling premise.

STORYLINE

At the center of Ziddi Ishq is the tale of Mehul, portrayed by Aaditi Pohankar, a simple Bengali woman whose love is limitless. Mehul's life is wrapped around Shekhar Da (Parambrata Chattopadhyay), a man she cares for deeply, who may or may not love her back. Positive Aspects

Drawbacks

The only hurdle for Ziddi Ishq will be walking the direction of melodrama with the realistic premise of obsessive love, however that is a tricky road to navigate for this premise is more, or less, selection and development of addiction to avoid predictability. Also, for others, to totally ignore emotional buildup can't work for them, depending on the pace the story teller delivers.
