The producers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups have now revealed the first image showing Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, which adds a thrilling new element to the highly-anticipated Kannada Action Thriller of 2026 lead by Yash. As the film continues to gain momentum with every passing day of updates, Huma's eye-catching image has only raised expectations amongst the audience even higher.

After introducing the character of Kiara Advani, Nadia, the producers shared the character poster for Huma Qureshi’s character via their social media pages. The post stated, "Presenting Huma Qureshi as ELIZABETH in – A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups". The post quickly became popular with fans due to how the film has a fairly unique international visual styling.

In the first image announcing her character, Huma Qureshi stands against an intense gothic background, dressed in all-black, leaning against a vintage full-whiteswiss rolled over the back of the car. Her expression appears calm but intense and her character looks like she is going to have an important part in the story due to how many layers of sophistication and intensity that Elizabeth is showing in her image together with a graveyard setting, documenting the look of Elizabeth.

Many fans expressed their excitement for the poster online, comparing it to the "Hollywood vibes" of a studio film, plus big, epic scale, with one user commenting, "Absolutely every poster of Toxic matches the original Hollywood aesthetic and is just as visually refined as any of the best international cinema out there!" Several members of the community have expressed their anticipation for the movie, admiring Huma’s outstanding talents on-screen and expecting that she will perform exceptionally.

Kiara Advani portrayed Nadia in Toxic Universe and reposted Huma's first look on Instagram and wrote, "I am excited to introduce you to my character in Toxic Universe!". This indicates there is more to come regarding the other characters in the film.

Toxic was directed and written by Geetu Mohandas, a filmmaker who has received a National Award. Geetu has said it was a very challenging decision for her to cast Huma as the character in her script because of the complexity of the character. Huma has an electric presence as a performer and the power she creates on stage were two of the reasons Geetu wanted her in Toxic.

Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is a period piece set in a time gone by on the beautiful coast of Goa, and it stars Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara and Tara Sutaria in addition to Huma. Venkat K. Narayana is producing the film under KVN Productions and the film is set to be released in theatres in March 2026, making Toxic one of the largest films to be released next year.
