After years of ruling Disney+, Star Wars: The Mandalorian has finally pushed Din Djarin and everyone's favorite little Force user Grogu to the big screen in an epic headline-making adventure. Director Jon Favreau has taken The Mandalorian from its small screen roots and made it into an epic true motion picture on a grand scale filled with action, fun and touching moments. From the start of the film, viewers will be taken back to Star Wars at its best yet fresh and new for those who have yet to experience the franchise. Pedro Pascal reprises his role as the fearless, cold-blooded bounty hunter and Grogu continues to grab the spotlight and steal the show with every scene, providing the type of entertainment for the audience that everyone anticipated.

Storyline

In the aftermath of the downfall of the Galactic Empire, Din Djarin and Grogu are called upon by the New Republic to find and eliminate the remaining Imperial warlords that are continuing to terrorise the galaxy. Some of the locations in Galaxys where Din and Grogu continue their quest are in the mountains of snowy tundra, mega futuristic cities, underground gladiator type fighting rings and major combat battle fields. The two use every weapon they can to defeat massive enemies, ruthless killers, and remnants of the last Empires attempting to create a new empire from the ashes of the last, through out the entire course of the movie Din continues to grow as a bounty hunter and protector.

Positive Points

The film has massive, beautiful, IMAX action scenes. The AT-AT battle in the snow and all of the action that occurs in the arena are very entertaining as well. Grogu is the center point of the film. He has so many adorable expressions and funny moments, as well as an emotional connection with Din Djarin (played by Pedro Pascal) which makes for an enjoyable movie. The director (John Favreau) has created a fun, adventurous movie without it being overly complicated. Also, Ludwig Göransson's music contributes to the overall experience and has some great exciting and emotional music.

Negative Points

While it has great entertainment value, it lacks emotional depth; some storylines needed more development; whereas fans who have followed Star Wars will find parts of the film predictable. Finally, the film focuses more on the spectacle of the action sequences than the depth of the storytelling.

Overall: A large number of well-known characters from the Star Wars world who have previously appeared on Disney+ in other series are featured in this motion picture. Consequently, because you have not seen any older materials from this same storyline before, you will have no problem enjoying this episode, and as I said earlier, it has lots of laughs in addition to it being out since just after the release date! The original trilogy had so many various elements that are familiar to you, like characters and the design of the sets, that even though each episode builds off of the ones that came before it, you are preparing to have a continuing experience as related to the Star Wars mythology!
