Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata Trailer Review: Kangana Ranaut Leads an Emotional Tribute to 26/11 Heroes
Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is a film about the heroic actions taken by a lesser-known group of individuals during one of the most dramatic events in 26/11 Mumbai's history. Manoj Tapadia is the director of the movie and main lead is Kangana Ranaut and Girija Oak as actors. The purpose of the movie is to pay tribute to the brave healthcare workers and nurses that worked at Cama and Albless Hospitals in Mumbai.
Storyline
The two minutes and twelve seconds is the of trailer length; however, it demonstrates an emotional connection with the audience. Key scenes from the trailer are gunfire, police responses, and the media's response to the attacks that occurred across India on the night of the attack. The introductory scene of nurses going about their daily routines at Cama Hospital builds the viewer's connection. As the footage of Mumbai's chaos begins to run on the screen, Kangana's character represents courage and selflessness by choosing to stay at the hospital to care for patients who are barricaded inside of it despite the fact that the environment around her is an absolute mess. Throughout the experience of attempting to save lives, the viewer will clearly see how the medical staff displayed fear but also demonstrated determination.
Positive Points
- Kangana Ranaut's performance looks very dramatic. The trailer has given an insight of 26/11 attacks.
- The emotional connection with the audience has been achieved through the film's storytelling.
- The music in the background with the visuals creates a greater impact of the story.
- The performances of the supporting acts (Girija Oak, Smita Tambe) do look quite strong and believable.
- The trailer does a good job of combining emotional moments and patriotic elements, without going overboard in any of those areas.
Negative Points
- The trailer has exposed most of the emotional climaxes, so the audience has limited suspense.
- Some of the scenes feel like they have been used before and have a predictable formula for disaster movies.
- There is considerable pressure to maintain the emotional investment in the film for the entire runtime.
Overall: Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is an emotional tribute to the unsung heroes of the 26/11 attacks through performances, storytelling and realistic backdrop of the true story. If the movie lives up to these expectations, it will make an emotional and moving cinematic experience upon its release in theatres on June 12.
