Nissan Tekton SUV To Launch Soon In India With Premium Features And Bold Design
Nissan will soon be launching their mid-size SUV, the Nissan Tekton, in India to grow their strong hold on the SUV market. With the success of the Nissan Magnite, which they have sold a lot of, Nissan is now focusing on the very competitive mid-size segment of the SUV market. The official announcement has been made that the Nissan Tekton will launch in India on July 9th.
The design of the Nissan Tekton will most likely have a massive chrome grille with similar LED light styling, giving the vehicle an ultra-modern look. This front-facing design also has many cool design elements including; modern lightning style (lit by sharp lights that reflect off the body), sporty looking front bumpers, and large wheel wells used for bigger tires that add helped add to the vehicle's presence on the road.
The side profile will likely offer stylish multi-spoke alloy wheels and strong body lines for the desired modern look of an SUV. The rear of the Nissan Tekton may include a spoiler, connected C-shaped LED tail lights and dominant branding to showcase that it is a Nissan and a Tekton.
Specifications
The newest technology will be used in the Nissan Tekton, which includes features like large touch screen display for driver info and infotainment system; smartphone connection via cell phone; display instrument panel; air conditioning that operates automatically and a large glass panel roof. The Tekton is also set to include such options as ventilated seats, and high-quality materials used throughout the cab.
With regard to safety, it is expected that the Tekton SUV will be equipped with many of the same safety features that most other new SUVs today are. These would likely include air bags (multiple), anti-lock brakes/traction control, ESP, back-up camera and parking sensors. In addition, higher trim levels will also include more advanced driver assist systems.
Pricing and Competitors
Nissan hasn't disclosed pricing for the Nissan Tekton SUV yet, but media reports speculate the sale price to be within the range of INR 12,00,000 and INR 18,00,000 (ex-showroom) which will provide serious competition to other well-established models, including Hyundai Creata, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Tata Harrier, and Mahindra Scorpio.
This midsize SUV will, based on its aggressive design, Premium Technology and options, as well as its cost-effectiveness, provide Nissan with a valuable offering in the growing SUV segment in India.
