Check out the latest trailer from Dharma Productions for their next romantic drama called "Chaand Mera Dil." We think it's going to be a big emotional roller coaster, with all the elements of love, heartache and tragedy. Starring Lakshya Lalwani and Ananya Panday. It's going to be a modern day love story that isn't perfect or planned but very real and relatable. Directed by Vivek Soni, the nearly three-minute trailer has a combination of romance and some emotional conflict throughout the video, allowing audience members to get a sense of a relationship that slowly deteriorates due to mistakes, egos and emotional gaps. The music was played in several parts of the trailer, giving us a very good chance to compare the trailer's music styles to other well-known artists and trends.

Plot Summary

Lakshya is playing the boyfriend who is expressing his regrets about how he treated the girlfriend (Ananya) and begs her not to end the relationship. with this he also reminding her about the romantic times which they share and the fun they had in a relationship. After showing the history of the couple, the emotions between them become enhanced very emotionally.

The plot gets complicated soon after they start to get involved in the relationship because of misunderstandings and emotional battles which ultimately result in the slow destruction of their connection. A very strong line in the trailer could be when Chandni states “Love is important but respect is more important.” Another strong line in the film is when Aarav states, “You always have to have a very sad ending in order for your love story to be legendary,” thus creating an emotional sadness to the final scene of the movie.

Positive Points

One of the greatest strengths of the trailer is that the chemistry between Lakshya and Ananya Panday. Both performers do an admirable job of expressing emotion through romance. Ananya Panday portrays her character much more maturely and confidently than she has previously in this role; Lakshya gives an equally passionate and honest performance.

The dialogue in this motion picture communicates a number of important ideas and also creates an emotionally bond between the audience and the characters. Great cinematography, dramatic music and emotionally charged still photographs work together to give a very romantic feeling to the movie.

Negative Points

An element of sadness created through out the trailer has also provided a connection between the viewer and what they have seen before creating a familiarity for the viewer. A perfect example of this would be how many people compared this film to Saiyaara, but said that this one is much more mature in terms of its content.

Overall: this movie looks to have a deep romance centered around feeling like you have lost your love and lost who you really are. The chemistry between all actors, the few good lines of dialogue in the trailer, emotional highs portrayed through the trailer all tell you this film will be powerful once it releases in theatres on May 22nd,2026.
