Bhagwat Chapter 1 Rakshas Trailer Review: Arshad Warsi & Jitendra Kumar’s Dark Thriller Grabs Attention
Arshad Warsi is on a roll currently with both movies and OTT ventures. With Jolly LLB 3 and The Bads of Bollywood, he is now returning with yet another intense drama – Bhagwat Chapter 1: Rakshas. Directed by Akshay Shere, the movie is all set to release on ZEE5 on October 17. The trailer is already making waves, more so since Panchayat fame Jitendra Kumar is seen in a never-before-seen, dark avatar.
Storyline
The trailer acquaints us with police officer Vishwas Bhagwat (Arshad Warsi), notorious for his brutal methods of dealing with criminals. His rough methods cost him his job in the crime branch. In the meantime, the city is in an uproar as a young girl has gone missing and it soon turns into a catastrophe. Vishwas digs deeper and finds that not only one but 19 girls have gone missing.
His suspicions lead him to Suraj (Jitendra Kumar), who seems to be linked to a prostitution racket. Positive Points
The largest surprise of the trailer is the commanding screen presence and hard-hitting dialogues of Arshad Warsi. His role immediately brings his highly praised performance in Asur to mind. Contrarily, Jitendra Kumar's transformation into an enigmatic and dark role is a complete shock for fans who are used to watching the suave "Sachiv Ji." The thrilling background score and taut cinematography add to the thriller genre of the movie.

Negative Points
Some of the viewers think that the idea and handling are similar to Asur, which becomes a question of creativity. Further, at 2 minutes 41 seconds, the trailer gives away much, and this could decrease the suspense element when the movie actually comes out.
Overall: Bhagwat Chapter 1: Rakshas is a spine-tingling thriller with Arshad Warsi and Jitendra Kumar in the opposite role with each other in a fresh combination.
