Andhra CM Encourages Welfare Scheme Beneficiaries To Become YSRCP's Star Campaigners, Stressing Their Vital Contribution

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged beneficiaries of the government's welfare schemes to step up as star campaigners for the ruling party in the upcoming polls. Speaking at a public meeting in Raptadu, Anantapur district, Reddy emphasized the crucial role of welfare scheme recipients in advocating for the party's agenda.

With simultaneous elections for the legislative assembly and Lok Sabha approaching, Reddy addressed a massive gathering of YSRCP supporters and party cadres in Rayalaseema district as part of the 'Siddham' series of political meetings.

Reddy framed the forthcoming elections as a battle of ideologies, underscoring the significance of sustaining welfare schemes against the perceived designs of opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu and his capitalist allies. He rallied the audience, questioning their readiness for this ideological confrontation.

Throughout his speech, Reddy directed criticisms towards Naidu, challenging the audience to recall significant schemes or concepts of social justice implemented during Naidu's lengthy tenures as chief minister. He accused Naidu of failing to fulfill even a fraction of his electoral promises and alleged that the opposition leader's manifesto for the 2024 elections would be rife with empty pledges.

Reddy urged YSRCP cadres to embark on door-to-door campaigns and communicate Naidu's alleged deceitfulness, stressing the necessity of reinstating the YSRCP to power to sustain welfare schemes and reforms initiated over the past five years.

Highlighting his administration's achievements, Reddy mentioned the distribution of welfare benefits totaling Rs 2.55 lakh crore through direct benefit transfer (DBT) under various schemes. He also noted the creation of 2.13 lakh jobs, with 80 percent of vacancies filled by marginalized communities.

Expressing confidence in his party's prospects, Reddy set ambitious goals of securing victory in all 175 assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats in the forthcoming elections. He asserted that his government had fulfilled the majority of its promises and called on volunteers and supporters to intensify campaign efforts in the lead-up to the polls.

With less than two months remaining until the elections, Reddy urged every YSRCP volunteer and supporter to engage in comprehensive door-to-door campaigning, emphasizing the need for a robust outreach strategy to ensure victory.
