Netflix India has unveiled its thrilling new original show, Operation Safed Sagar, a patriotic action drama based on one the Indian Air Force's most audacious exploits in the Kargil War building. The show was announced at the Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon 2025 in New Delhi, and promises to explore an underappreciated heroic event from Indian military history, and to do so with authenticity and grandeur.

Provided a strong and previous ensemble cast - Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Mihir Ahuja, Taaruk Raina and Arnav Bhasin - the aim of the series is to humanize the heroes operationalized in machines and provide heart-pounding aerial action with emotionally charged context.
