Häfele India Opens Its Largest-Ever Flagship Design Centre In Gurugram
The latest milestone in Häfele's activities in India is the opening of its ninth and largest Design Centre in the country. It is at M3M 65th Avenue, Golf Course Extension Road, Gurugram and occupies around 10,000 sq ft, with the intention of becoming an immersive experience-based location for architects, interior designers, developers, and homeowners within the Delhi–NCR region.
Häfele has changed from being seen mostly for precision furniture and door hardware over the years to being a manufacturer of complete, interconnected furniture systems comprising all components; inclusive of kitchen and domestic electrical and mechanical products and materials. This expansion has created increasing diverse design styles and ways of living, now Häfele provides more than just one product to its end-user customers but offers "connected" systems to complement the interior design of homes which enhance both the functionality and efficiency of their home and the overall end-user experience. The Gurugram Flagship Design Centre is a complete exhibition of Häfele's product and solution offerings along with real-world applications.
Häfele South Asia's Managing Director Frank Schloeder, along with the company's senior management team, opened a new showroom in Gurugram, which demonstrates the city's gradual emergence as a center for architecture, design, real estate, and modern living. Häfele showcases its products through real-life applications rather than just through product displays. To illustrate this, the showrooms features seven fully-integrated kitchen environments, along with living rooms, bedrooms, wardrobes, and bathrooms — all of which show how different types of products work together to create an actual finished product. The showroom also includes dedicated areas for built-in appliances, home surfaces, and lighting systems for architecture and furniture. An event area includes a working kitchen and will help the Design Centre serve as a place for discovery and interaction.
Speaking about the launch, Mr. Frank Schloeder, said: "The true value of a design decision comes from experiencing your solution in context. As lifestyles and work (i.e. locations where people will work) are changing, there is an increased need for efficiency and a greater ability to adjust to changing environments found in our interiors. We have designed this Flagship Design Centre (in Gurugram) as a collaborative location where ideas can leave the drawing board, and instead of just providing a visual representation of how the integrated solution will work, to be able to provide a physical representation of how integrated solutions work in the real world. This showroom is a reflection of Häfele's commitment to developing our interiors with the best solutions that ultimately matter."
The design ecosystem of Delhi-NCR comes together at the Flagship Design Centre in Gurugram for inspiration, expert consultation and service led planning support. The Flagship Design Centre will provide more than just the display of complete integrated interior solutions; it will provide architects, designers, developers and consumers the personalised advice, technical knowledge and hands-on interaction needed throughout the complete interior planning process. With its strategic placement in one of India's most rapidly developing design and real estate centres, the launch of the Flagship Design Centre will be part of Hafele India's larger strategy to enhance its experiential footprint throughout India.
