Addressing the gathering, Akhilesh Yadav underscored Haryana's substantial contribution to the Indian Army, particularly its youth. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the youth despite challenges like the Agniveer system. Yadav pledged that, if the Samajwadi Party comes to power, it will abolish the Agniveer system and reinstate the previous system, with this commitment likely included in their manifesto.
