Just days after the bus accident in Raesi, Jammu and Kashmir faced two more terrorist attacks, this time in Kathua and Doda. Two terrorists asked for water from many houses, which increased the suspicions of the villagers. When villagers raised an alarm, these two terrorists started firing, injuring one civilian in the process.

Both of these terrorists were shot dead in the encounter launched by the security forces, but a soldier also met his end, serving his country in the process. CRPF jawan Kabir Dass was critically injured after the terrorist attack and was rushed to the hospital, where he lost his life after battling his injuries. The encounter started late at night and lasted until early in the morning.

Regarding the Kathua case, police stated that two terrorists were involved in the Kathua attack last evening. One of them was shot dead last night, and the other was eliminated this morning in a forested region. Police also gave some additional information that the second terrorist was armed with a US-made M4 carbine assault rifle.

In the Doha district, on the other hand, terrorists attacked a joint checkpoint in the upper area of Chattergalla on the Bhaderwah-Pathankot road. Five soldiers from Rashtriya Rifles and a special police officer (SPO) got hurt in the attack. The road is currently closed to traffic, and an operation is underway to track down the terrorists.
